Apple Oven Cake + Cookbook Giveaway

I am excited to announce that today I have my first giveaway on Glori of Food. has compiled some of the best recipes from the publications under their umbrella (ie Cooking Light, Southern Living, Sunset) to create America’s Favorite Food. I have to tell you, this cookbook isn’t just any cookbook; this is the first cookbook to use Scan It/Cook It technology. This feature makes the food jump off the page with videos, tips, and bonus recipes, all accessible via your smart phone. Just download the app, scan the page and away you go.

As I was flipping through the book for the first time, several new recipes caught my eye. But I was especially drawn to this Apple Oven Cake. Two of my close friends are coming to visit this weekend, and I picture us enjoying the seasonal treat alongside a cup of coffee in the morning. I love that most of the cake can be assembled from start to finish in the pan in which it bakes. Easy + delicious + minimal clean-up = a win win.

Speaking of winning, you probably want to know how to score the new America’s Favorite Food Cookbook. Leave a comment below telling me your favorite breakfast treat, and one lucky reader will be selected at random to win.For additional chances to win:
