Candy Corn Rice Crispy Treats

The weekend is finally here, and I couldn’t be happier considering this has been a six-day work week. Tonight one of my best friends is coming to town, and I can’t wait to spend some quality girl time with her. Being that it is Halloween, coincidentally my friend’s favorite holiday, I thought I’d surprise her with a festive treat. She and I share a mutual love for candy corn, the true candy of Halloween. Rather than just tossing another bag of Brach’s her way, I decided that incorporating them into a dessert would be a more exciting way to go. These Candy Corn Rice Crispy treats are a seasonal twist on an old classic; plus they take no-time to make, which was perfect for my busy week. I can’t wait to catch up with my friend while indulging in these Halloween treats.

Candy Corn Rice Crispy Treats

What You Need

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 10 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 9 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 cups candy corn
  • 3/4 cup miniature chocolate chip

What To Do

  1. Melt butter and marshmallows; stir until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, mix rice cereal, candy corn and miniature chips together.
  3. Add cereal mixture to marshmallows; stir quickly to combine.
  4. Spread on a large buttered jellyroll pan; press with buttered hands.
  5. Let the pan cool and set before cuttng into squares.
