As someone who brings reusable bags to the grocery store, recycles whenever possible, and strives to reduce waste, I commend Province for being the only full service restaurant in Chicago to be Gold Level LEED certified. Sustainable and salvaged materials largely contribute to the restaurant’s earthy and minimal décor, which is juxtaposed with the anything-but-subtle bright pink wall spanning the length of the space.

The west loop eatery proved to be the perfect place to host our company event last night. Latin-inspired cuisine, friendly service and an inviting private room joined together to create an enjoyable evening for all. Today at work I heard nothing but positive feedback from several employees.

We snacked on tetilla fondue with pretzel bread, salmon sashimi, tortilla soup shooters, chicken bocadillos, squash taquitos, chicken sausage flatbread, shrimp and grits, and the crowd favorite, steak tartare toasts, which had amazing flavor and kick. For dessert we had churros with coffee crema, dulce de leche cookies, mini pear tartlets, and lemon pound cake. The tiny desserts were so delicious, I must have popped at least 10 of those bites!

Thanks Province for a great evening that you threw together in a moment’s notice.
