Family Secrets

People can be funny about sharing. Even the most generous person might take issue with sharing certain things: underwear, boyfriends, ABC gum and recipes.

Recipes? That’s right, recipes.

You know, the sacred family recipe. The coveted recipe that everyone wants but can’t get. Or you can get it, but it’s given to you with missing ingredients.

Thankfully my aunt doesn’t partake in such shady behavior. A few years ago she gave me her signature Blueberry Cake recipe.

Now I am able to share this recipe with you…it’s not like I’m divulging family secrets.

*A testament to how delicious this cake is: when I made the cake while I was dating my now husband, one of his friends had a piece and his immediate reaction – MARRY HER!
